BOW, NH (WHDH) - Two people were injured after a pickup truck rolled over on Route 93 southbound in Bow, New Hampshire Saturday.

According to state police, troopers responded to a report of a single car crash on Route 93 around 4:00 p.m.

Troopers determined the driver, 21-year-old Travis Gallant of Block Island, Rhode Island, drove off the right side of the road. His car then rolled over and struck a tree.

Gallant had to be extricated from the car by the fire department.

A female passenger was also injured in the crash. Both individuals were taken to Concord Hospital with multiple injuries.

A six-month-old German Shepherd named “Loto” was also in the truck, and ran away from the scene of the crash. Several people attempted to catch the dog, but they were unsuccessful.

The dog was last seen running in an industrial area off Route 3A in Bow.

Police said preliminary investigations suggest Gallant fell asleep while driving.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the crash or the whereabouts of the dog to contact them at 603-271-3636.
