WATERFORD, Vt. (AP) — A motorcycle rider and his passenger were killed when the cycle crashed into guardrail, state police said.
Killed in the crash early Saturday evening were the operator, Victor Kasica, 58, of Thornton, New Hampshire, and his passenger, Deanna Murphy, 49, also of Thornton, officials said.
The motorcycle went out of control and hit the guardrail on a curve on Route 18. Troopers rendered first aid but both died at the scene.
