BRANFORD, Conn. (AP) — Police are investigating the deaths of two people found in a Connecticut apartment whose bodies showed what authorities described as “signs of trauma.”

Branford police say officers responded to a 911 call just after 6:15 p.m. on Monday.

They entered an apartment and found two people dead. Neither their ages nor their genders were immediately disclosed and investigators did not go into any detail about the trauma.

Autopsies will be performed to determine the cause and manner of the deaths, but police say “there is no known immediate threat” to the public.

Anyone with information about the deaths is asked to contact Branford police.
