REVERE, MASS. (WHDH) - A VFW building in Revere with vandalized with anti-Donald Trump graffiti over the weekend and police are now looking for the suspects.

Profane anti-Trump graffiti was spray-painted over an American flag on the side of the Mottolo VFW Post 4524 building. Security cameras caught the suspects in the act early Saturday morning. A man was first seen writing words on the mural at 4:30 a.m. Saturday; a few hours later, a woman was seen driving up to the VFW post and spray-painting more words before driving off. Police said she also spray-painted a van in the parking lot.

“I’m speechless because it’s such a disgrace,” said VFW Manager John Ross.

Ross said what makes the vandalism more hurtful is the flag was handpainted last summer by Scott Lobaido. The artist painted a flag on a VFW post in every state.

“This isn’t a joke. It’s not, any way, a joke to do something like this,” said Ross.
