WESTPORT, MASS. (WHDH) - Two Westport health officials are now off the job after they failed to properly inspect a farm.
This comes after hundreds of dead and injured animals were discovered on the property last month.
So far no charges have been filed as police continue to investigate.
A neglected dog found on the property is now up for adoption.
The animal rescue league says “Bear” is doing well despite all the abuse he has gone through.
