BARNSTABLE, MASS. (WHDH) - Three cousins and their friend were all killed when their car was struck head-on by a wrong-way driver on I-495 in Middleborough.
Qippy Diggs said his 20-year-old son Kraig was driving back to Anna Maria College in Paxton with his two cousins and their friend early Monday when the wrong-way driver hit them. State Police said the car immediately burst into flames, killing Kraig Diggs and his three passengers. The driver of the wrong-way car was also killed.
Diggs said his son was “fun loving” and had big dreams, planning to major in international business. He said he also has sympathy for the other driver’s family, saying her family also has to cope with losing a loved one.
