BOSTON (WHDH) - Police are searching for three suspects in Roxbury after a car crashed into a Wentworth Police cruiser overnight Friday.
Officers were responding to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Ruggles Street and Parker Street in Roxbury when a car that matched the report’s description crashed into the cruiser.
The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
Three suspects fled the car on foot, and one suspect was caught and arrested.
Officers spent an hour pulling clothes, shoes and other evidence from the car to help track down the suspect.
The police officer in the cruiser was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
