MERRIMACK, N.H. (WHDH) - Three teenagers were arrested for their alleged involvement in an armed robbery in Merrimack Friday.
According to Merrimack police, officers responded to the London Court apartment complex for reports of an armed robbery in the parking lot around 2:30 a.m.
The two victims told police three people, one of which was known to them, pointed two pistols at them, and stole a cell phone and a small amount of marijuana.
The suspects were last seen fleeing the area on bicycles.
Police found the suspects on DW Highway in the area of the Post Office. The suspects abandoned their bikes and fled on foot.
Two of the suspects were apprehended after a brief pursuit and arrested without incident.
One of the suspects is a 14-year-old boy from Nashua. He was taken to the Merrimack Police Department and released to the custody of his parents, with a hearing pending in Juvenile Division of the Merrimack District Court.
The other suspect was identified as 19-year-old Anthony Clark of Nashua. Clark was placed on $50,000.00 cash bail with an arraignment on July 11 at 8:00 AM in the 9th Circuit District Court of Merrimack.
The third suspect, a 17-year-old boy from Lawrence, fled into a wooded area south of Twin Bridge Road and north of the MYA / Kids Cove playground.
Officers set up a perimeter and conducted an extensive search of the area with assistance from the New Hampshire State Police.
He was found approximately two hours later and was arrested without incident. He is currently being held in the Sununu Center in Manchester NH pending a hearing in the Juvenile Division of the Merrimack District Court.
After conducting a search of the area, officers found a backpack that contained a BB gun, which matched the description provided by witnesses.
