A horrifying discovery was made in Moncks Corner, South Carolina after 30 animals were found dead in a home.

The Berkeley County sheriff’s office was called to a home on Honeybee Road off Highway 17-A.

When dead animals were discovered, they called Berkeley County Animal Control.

Once a dead deer wearing a leash was discovered, they called DNR.

The animals included the bodies of a pony, a deer wearing a leash, a goat, a dog, a rabbit, a duck, a chicken and squirrel.

A total of 30 dead animals were found in the home. Nine live animals were taken to Doc Williams SPCA.

The live animals included one puppy, an adult dog, four kittens and three reptiles.

Berkeley Animal Control issued 12 citations against Courtney Heatley of Honeybee Road.
