The Italian Coast Guard rescued 360 migrants off the east coast of Sicily Saturday.
The migrants had been trying to reach the mainland aboard a fishing boat.
They were transferred to the ‘Fiorillo’ Coast Guard ship and then brought to the port of Vibo Valentia in Calabria.
The Coast Guard did not provide any information about the nationalities of the migrants.
