Four firefighters were injured after battling an intense fire in a multi-family home in Providence, Rhode Island.

Officials said the fire started on the house’s third-floor porch. It then quickly spread, causing the roof to collapse on the firefighters inside. Three of the firefighters were treated at the hospital for burns and another suffered an injured shoulder.

Three families were left homeless after the fire.
