BOSTON (WHDH) - Just two weeks before Halloween, the city of Boston has chosen an official pumpkin for the city.
The ‘Pumpkin of Boston’ weighs 1,082 pounds, grown by the Red Apple Farm in Phillipston.
The official pumpkin will be joined by another 800-pound pumpkin.
The seasonal favorite will be on display at Boston Public Market.
Welcome #BPMPumpking! Happy to have you in all your 1,082 lb glory. Special thanks to @TheRedAppleFarm and to farmers Lou & Sue Chadwick! https://t.co/wHXwTUlwVi
