WESTFORD, MASS. (WHDH) - Six people were arrested after police said they were running a drug lab at their house in Westford.

On June 8 just before 9 a.m., Westford Police searched a home on Mountain View Lane. The raid came after a nine-month undercover investigation using two informants led to a warrant. Officers said they noticed a smell that signaled a cooking lab was in the house.

In the basement, police allegedly found an active drug lab with butane honey oil and hashish oil. Police said Bradley Heath, 22, and his girlfriend Lindsey Holston, 20, were manufacturing and selling the oil.

Because of the dangerous nature of the lab, hazardous materials crews and the State Police Bomb Squad were called in to secure the house.

Heath and Holston were arrested on drug charges along with four other people: homeowners Bradley Heath and Diana Heath, their daughter Linley Heath and Prachi Joglekar.

Police said they were all aware of what was going on but defense attorney Jeff Higgins said they had no idea. Higgins said Bradley Heath was able to possess the drugs because he has a marijuana card and can smoke it to treat his anxiety.
