Heavy flooding and an intense house fire left Worcester Firefighters weary.

Crews raced to a three-story building on Pelham Street early Saturday morning.

The fire broke out on the top floor.

Six people were trapped inside.

Four adults and two children had to be rescued by ladder.

All were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The fire chief said his crews did a good job by acting quickly.

Heavy flooding left the home without power at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
