BOSTON (WHDH) - The victim in Saturday’s fatal duck boat crash has been identified as a 29-year-old Beacon Hill woman.

AIG said the victim was their employee, Allison Warmuth. Police said Warmuth was hit and killed by a duck boat while riding a scooter with her friend Saturday.

Both Warmuth and her friend were wearing helmets. Her friend was injured in the crash and is expected to be OK.

“She was a very special person,” said a friend of Warmuth’s, who did not want to go on camera. “If you knew Ali, you’d know that everything she did, she put a lot of thought into it.”

The crash remains under investigation. Police interviewed all 30 passengers that were on the duck boat at the time of the crash. It is not known yet if any charges will be filed.

Statement from AIG:

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of our colleague Allison Warmuth. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Allison’s family and all who were closest to her.”
