State Police and Wareham Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Wareham.
Investigators say the 70-year-old man was found shot several times inside a home at 120 Glenn Charley Road in Wareham.
Police were called to the home for a well-being check.
The victim has been identified as John Williams of Wareham, according to police.
Police have not made an arrest, but say there appears to be no threat to the public.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
