Parental training could be the key to improving the behavior of children with autism. 

In a new study, parents took a 24-week course on how to respond to tantrums, aggression, and other common problems.

Researchers found in the weeks after the training, parents reported their kids showed a nearly 50 percent improvement in behavior.

They also found the benefit from the training lasted at least six months.
