A new study suggests children who are allowed to sip alcohol may be more likely to start drinking by high school.

The study followed kids through their middle school years to see the effects of parents permitting tastes of adult drinks.

Those who had sipped alcohol by sixth grade were five times more likely to have consumed a full drink by high school.

Experts say little tastes of alcohol may be sending the wrong message to kids.
