Yowza, what a week…clouds & rain just about every day. So far (as of 5pm) Boston has managed to stay dry but the day is not over and the doppler radar is showing another round of rain. Those showers have spent the afternoon across western & central New England and I do think a few of them will find their way into metro Boston this evening. The latest in a series of storms is tossing clouds & showers into New England. Thankfully, this will be the last of the bunch. Oddly enough, it’s not the last round of showers for the weekend. That will come at the hands of a cool front but that front will sweep this storm & the rainy pattern out to sea.

This front won’t arrive until Sunday morning so tomorrow we are stuck with this whirling dervish one more day….plan on mainly cloudy skies and even a few sprinkles—far from a washout but not as nice as this afternoon was. Cooler as well with the return of clouds.

Mother’s Day starts with clouds & showers thanks to that front but the front keeps on a movin and so will those showers. Look for the rain to end between 11am-2pm with sunshine to follow. Sunday afternoon really is a decent afternoon for outdoor activities….partly sunny, breezy & temps near 60!

Looking into early next week, our dreary, dismal, cool pattern is out and a pattern more typical of May is in! Sunny skies with temps in the 60s (even some low 70s possible).

Enjoy time with the family this weekend!
