What a nice "winter" day. Yes, technically, we still have another week to go until astronomical spring but spring is here, certainly this weekend! Slow moving High Pressure should get the love–remember, I’m just the messenger–as it will drift from the Great Lakes this evening to just south of New England over the weekend. This slow drift means both days feature sunny skies and with bare ground, that sun will work to warm things up each day. Temps away from the ocean are near 60 both days but along the coast (including Boston) only tomorrow is near 60. On Sunday, a sea breeze will develop (due to a lack of a west wind) and that means chilly ocean air will find a way into coastal cities & towns. These are good problems to have tho—as a year ago we were about to embark on a two week stretch of cold temps!

Looking into next week, it will start unsettled with clouds & rain showers–not from a cold front or storm but yet another warm front! On Monday & Tuesday the front struggles to live up to its name as temps are pinned down in the 40s with the clouds & showers but by Wednesday, those temps will bounce into the upper 50s yet again.

Enjoy your weekend–it’s a dandy!
