No doubt about it….a touch of fall out there right now with a cool breeze in progress. Even yesterday with the grey skies & drizzly, damp weather it looked like (from the comfort of my man-cave anyway) an October sky. Soooo……….have we turned the page from last week’s searing heat?! No. Our warm, dry pattern is coming right back into New England starting tomorrow!
Today will be fall-like tho with that cool breeze for much of the day as well as a fair amount of clouds filling up the sky as we approach midday-afternoon. Technically, the numbers this afternoon will be "normal" for this time of year but due to all the extreme heat last week, it may feel somewhat cool for some of you. A light jacket oughta do the trick.
As for tomorrow…and really the remainder of the week, High Pressure settles into the Northeast and hangs for several days. Like last week, plan on abundant sunshine for several days (grass seed will need to be watered) but unlike last week, no record heat & no excessive humidity. Rather, temps warmer than normal by about 10 degrees—low 80s with low to moderate humidity.
Spring was late to arrive this year….looks like fall is running behind too. Enjoy!
