MAYNARD, MA (WHDH) — An Acton man was arrested in Maynard over the weekend and charged with his fourth DUI.

On June 4 around 1 a.m., police patrolling Nason Street noticed a car with no headlights traveling the wrong way up the road.

The officer pulled the car over and noticed the driver slurring his speech.

The driver failed multiple sobriety tests and he registered a .128 on a breath test, which is more than 50 percent the legal limit.

Ronald Royse, 48, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol — fourth offense, operating with a suspended license, one-way street violation, motor vehicle lights violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Royse was held on $10,000 cash bail pending his arraignment.
