BOSTON (WHDH) - The Adidas Boost Games brought the world’s best track and field athletes to Boston Saturday.

Charles Street in Beacon Hill was transformed, giving fans a chance to get up close and personal with Olympic and world champions.

American Marvin Bracy was the big winner of the men’s 100 meter dash.

“This is my first ever street race,” he said. “It was an honor to be here, the crowd was lovely. They definitely rooted us on and kept us going, and I’m just really excited to try out for my first team, and hopefully I’ll make it.”

After the race, there was a barbecue where fans could meet some of the stars.
