(WHDH) It’s been a busy day in the race for President, and a new Twitter war is at the center of the discussion.
First it was Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders meeting with President Obama Thursday morning. Following the meeting, Sanders gave a brief statement vowing to stay in the race and compete in the Washington, D.C. primary next week – the final primary race of the election season.
Not long after the meeting between the Vermont senator and the president, presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton showed a video on her campaign website featuring President Obama endorsing Clinton.

That prompted a quick response on Twitter from Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, who attacked Clinton and Obama.
Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama—but nobody else does!

Clinton responded with the following tweet:

Hillary Clinton currently has 6.6 million Twitter followers; Donald Trump has 8.7 million.
UPDATE: Trump has issued a response:
How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up–and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted? https://t.co/gECLNtQizQ
