NASHUA, N.H. (WHDH) — The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide of an adult man and woman in Nashua, N.H.

The bodies of a prominent dentist and his wife were discovered by their daughter on Saturday.

“I’m shocked about this. This is very scary. We still really don’t know, we know two people are dead,” said one woman.

Friends said the couple is in their late 60s. Neighbors said the couple was loved in the neighborhood and very respected. They added that the couple has worked together for the past 15 years in their dental office.

“They’re nice people. I like them. I know them because we’re in the dental loop together,” said one woman.

Neighbors didn’t report hearing any arguing or gunshots before police arrived at the home.

An autopsy is a scheduled in the coming days to determine the cause of death.

Investigators remained at the home late into the night Saturday.
