The price of a domestic airline ticket is lower than it has been in years.

According to the Department of Transportation, the average cost dropped to $363 at the end of 2015.

It’s the lowest average price since 2010.

The eight percent annual drop is due in part to the lower cost for oil.

While ticket prices are dropping, airline still earned record profits in 2015.

The Transportation Department says U.S. airlines logged $25.6 billion in profits.

It’s the sixth straight year airlines have made profits.

Baggage fees added a total of nearly $4 billion.
