WILMINGTON, MASS. (WHDH) - An Allston man was arrested for allegedly selling fireworks, according to state police.

State police said a trooper saw a minivan traveling on Route 93 South near Exit 40 in Wilmington commit several violations around 2:00 a.m.

After the trooper stopped the driver and conducted a search of the car, he found 12 cases of fireworks, including commercial grade fireworks, and $7,510 in cash.

The driver, 36-year-old Ryan Teja of Allston, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of fireworks, improperly storing fireworks, unlawful selling of fireworks, and a marked lanes violation.

Teja was released on personal recognizance and will be arraigned in Woburn District Court Tuesday.
