It’s been another mixed-bag of weather conditions across the area today.  I’ve seen reports of sunshine along the South Coast, the islands made it into the 80s, and Boston was stuck in the clouds/fog through most of the day.  Personally, I loved the dreary/drizzly day in Boston.  Someone on Twitter asked, "Is it more like November weather or March weather?"  I’d say "neither."  Temps were too mild to be a cool spring day or a cool fall day.  It was more or less an umbrella-carrier-in-a-tank-top day, rather than a raincoat-wearer day… The raincoat plus 70° temps would turn us all into little walking greenhouses.  You follow?  Okay, now to the meaningful stuff…

We still have a bit of unsettled weather to make it through before we’re cruising through summertime once again.  Low clouds and fog will move in again tonight.  While I do expect more breaks in the clouds revealing the sunshine tomorrow, we may still see some isolated showers.  The sunshine that will make more of an appearance tomorrow should allow for temps to warm a bit.  Rather than highs stuck in the low 70s, most areas should make it into the upper 70s to near 80°.  We’re getting there.

… I know your next question:  "Will it still be humid???"  Yup.  It will.  We still have to get through a couple more days that will be plagued with "a case of the muggies."  I know it’s a concern if you’re an artist, a painter, a baker, a candy maker (humidity an really affect these things)!  Humidity can really bum out some plans, man.  I get it.  Wednesday it will be MUCH better.  Dewpoints will go from around 70° on Monday and Tuesday to around 60° on Wednesday.  You’ll notice a difference.

Before that can happen though… Tuesday will be the game changer for us.  A front will move through the area during the later hours of the day (exact timing is still tricky), and behind the front is some much drier air.  The front on Tuesday will likely come along with showers and storms.  The potential is there for some of these storms to be strong/severe.  As always, we’ll keep an eye on it.

I’m telling you… Wednesday is the "light at the end of the tunnel!"  From Wednesday through Sat (and possibly even Sunday), the forecast is looking FAN-TAS-TIC. – Breezy
