Needham native Aly Raisman was voted captain of the U.S. women’s Olympic gymnastic team.
The announcement was made on Twitter Saturday.
This is Raisman’s second consecutive summer Olympics serving as team captain.
At 22 years old, she is the oldest member of the U.S. team.
The team will compete in Rio’s Olympic games in August.
