It was decision night for a local singer on “The Voice” and Boston’s Anita Antoinette is moving on to the top ten.
She was the second singer to make it through to the next round.
After she was saved, Anita tweeted: “Oh my god you guys! We did it! Top 10 THANK YOU so much for your iTunes download, calls, text, app votes! We did it!”
Anita’s out in warm, sunny Hollywood now but she told us what she misses most about New England.
“I have a soft spot for snow. I remember the first time I ever saw it, felt it on my skin, it was in Boston. I remember looking at it telling my mom ‘it’s like white rain,’ and her mom was like, ‘no, that’s not what it is,’”
Anita was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to America when she was 7 years old.
“The Voice” is back next week, tune in Monday, at 8 on 7NBC.
