AT&T is making it easier to make phone calls.
The company is now making Wi-Fi calling available to all customers with an iPhone 6 or newer model.
The phones will automatically switch to a Wi-Fi connection for calls and texts if cell signals are low or unavailable.
The feature was turned on Thursday.
Wi-Fi calls are free as long as they are between US, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Island numbers.
No apps are required, but phones must be running iOS 9.
T-Mobile and Sprint have had the feature for a couple of years and they allow many more phones to use it.
