The audience at a Shrewsbury school talent show pitched in and sang along to help a boy with autism finish his solo.

Jagger Lavelly, 13, was set to perform "Let It Go" from the movie "Frozen" at Oak Middle School’s talent show. His mother Stacey said he had done the audition and practiced many times but when he got onstage, he struggled to remember the words.

"Seeing him struggle was really heartbreaking and I wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to get back on track," said Stacey Lavelly.

Audience members then joined in with Jagger, singing the song along with him. Stacey Lavelly said her son’s classmates clapped for him and helped him get through his performance.

"For them to do this and just reach out to him melted my heart," said Stacey Lavelly. "I was so choked up."

Stacey Lavelly said she was very thankful to everyone in the audience who supported her son.
