CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire authorities believe an 81-year-old man killed his 47-year-old wife before fatally stabbing himself.
The couple was found dead inside of their Concord apartment on Friday.
The attorney general’s office said Monday the cause of Lila Darjee’s death was “multiple sharp and blunt penetrating injuries” of the head, neck, and torso, and the manner of her death was homicide.
The cause of Pal Darjee’s death was a single stab wound and the manner of death was suicide.
The attorney general’s office says the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths remains active.
