FOXBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - The autographed New England Patriots helmet that was stolen from a Foxboro restaurant earlier this month has been returned.
Surveillance footage showed a man stealing the helmet from Skipjack’s on Aug. 11.
Police said he then left without paying his bill.
The man sent the helmet back to the restaurant Wednesday, along with an apology note and $70 to cover his tab.
