A baby boy was delivered on the side of Route 93 late Monday night.

The parents were driving to the hospital when they ended up getting stuck in traffic.

They were heading from Lynnfield to Beth Israel when they got stuck on the road after a car caught fire near a Storrow Drive on-ramp.

While stuck in traffic, they asked officers to call an ambulance.

Crews helped deliver baby Austin shortly after.

The mom and baby were later taken to Mass General Hospital, and both are reportedly doing well.
