JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (NBC) — A bald eagle was rescued after it became trapped in the grill of a car.
The incident happened in Florida.
The driver of the vehicle said the bird flew out in front of him and became lodged in the grill.
Clay County Sheriff’s office and fire rescue crews worked together to rescue the bird.
The bald eagle is safe and was turned over to a wildlife sanctuary in Jacksonville.
