MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) — Authorities are investigating a bank robbery in Merrimack, N.H.

Police say a man wearing a suit passed a note to a teller at the Peoples United Bank demanding money and claimed to have an explosive device. Police say the man then fled the bank with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as being between the ages of 55 and 65 and was wearing a dark gray suit, white dress shirt and tie, as well as glasses and a black tam hat worn backward.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Merrimack Police Department or the Merrimack Crimeline.

Police say the suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous and advise anyone who sees him to call 911.
