Police are actively searching the area around a TD Bank in Tewksbury following a bank robbery.
According to the Tewksbury Police Twitter account, a bank robbery was reported at the TD Bank near Main Street at South Street.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black coat and a gray hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a black knit cap.
Police say people should avoid the area if possible.
