ATHOL, Mass. (WHDH) — Residents and police in Athol found an unexpected visitor roaming around their downtown area recently.
The 250 pound bear was eventually tranquilized by police so they could check the tag on its ear.
The bear was then released back into the wild, away from the downtown area.
