A black bear was caught by wildlife officers after it was spotted in a West Hartford, Connecticut neighborhood.

Residents called for help when they spotted the bear walking down the street but the animal climbed up a tree before wildlife officers arrived. To keep everyone safe, tranquilizer darts were used on the bear and it was caught in nets set up below the tree.

Officials said bears are now on the move more because the weather is getting warmer.
