Cincinatti Bengals player Devon Stills gave his 4-year-old daughter a pep talk just before a surgery Thursday morning to fight her cancer.

“I’m gonna ask you again, I’m ready for today, are you ready for today? You ready to get this cancer up out you? Lets do it,” Stills said.

The Bengals originally cut Stills from the team this season but gave him a spot on the practice squad. This was in part so he could have health insurance to pay his daughter Leah’s medical bills.

Stills is happy to report that his daughter’s surgery was a success. Doctors were able to remove all of her tumor.

The team is also donating proceeds of the sales of Stills’ number 75 jersey to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
