NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — Nashua police say they've found a body in a car in an area of heavy vegetation, and the vehicle is registered to a Nashua woman who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Police say they received a report of a car on its roof off Temple Street on Saturday afternoon. They say the car is registered to 29-year-old Sarah McCormack. She was last seen on June 26 and has not been heard from since.

Authorities did not immediately identify the body found in the vehicle. They say the medical examiner's office will conduct an investigation to determine the cause and manner of death.

The vehicle was found one day after police asked for the public's help in finding McCormack.

Officials say they were contacted by McCormack's family, who said it was unusual for her not to have regular contact with them.
