KATHMANDU, Nepal (AP) — Rescuers were able to retrieve the body of an Australian climber who died on Mount Everest and fly it Nepal’s capital.

A helicopter flew the body of Maria Strydom to Kathmandu airport Friday and was driven to Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital morgue in a van.

Her husband who was already in Kathmandu accompanied the body along with the rescuers.

A search was continuing for two missing Indian climbers who are presumed dead, and attempts were being made to bring down the body of another Indian climber who also died on Everest.

A helicopter was able to bring down the body of a Dutch climber on Thursday.

Nearly 400 foreign climbers and Sherpa guides have made it to the top of Everest this year.
