A woman’s body was found in a house’s garage in East Boston Wednesday and police are calling her death “suspicious.”

The body was found on Princeton Street at around 8:30 a.m. at a home under construction. According to police, the woman is in her late teens or early 20s. Police have identified her but are waiting to release anymore information until her family is notified.

The woman was found fully clothed but police said her body had signs of trauma. Construction workers told 7News that she was found face down and had cuts on her.

Investigators collected evidence from inside the garage and the area around the house. They also went door-to-door to ask neighbors for more information.
