The body of a man found Tuesday night n the Mystic River has been identified as a suspect in the murder of a Malden woman in February. 

Officials identified the body as that of Kenneth Manning, 35 of Malden. 

Tuesday night around 6:30 p.m., a passerby reported seeing the body of a dead man in the Mystic River near the intersection of Shore Drive and Ten Hills Road in Somerville. 

The body appeared to have been in the water for an extended period of time. 

Manning was identified as the suspect in the murder of Colleen Russell, 36 of Malden. He is also the suspect in a larceny of a car. 

An arrest warranted was issued on Feb. 18. 

He was last seen on Feb. 16 in Somerville.
