CASPER, WYOMING (WHDH) — In a world where no one seems to be able to put down their electronic devices, you won’t believe what one bookstore in Wyoming is doing.
They are turning the WiFi off and telling their customers to put their computers away.
Wind City Bookstore wants its customers to read books and just chill on checking e-mail.
Vicky Burger, the owner of the bookstore wasn’t born yesterday and neither was her rule to nix the computers and the smartphones.
It has been going on for years now.
Vicky said the reaction has been positive and for the most part, her younger readers insist on books over e-readers.
