BOSTON (WHDH) - The Boston Carmen’s Union says they would agree to pay cuts for new employees if the T doesn’t outsource jobs.
Union officials say they would also be willing to agree to lower raises for workers in the future.
The union says concessions could save about $24 million.
The MBTA is facing an $80 million deficit next year.
