Alaska Airlines says an unruly passenger on-board a flight from Boston to San Diego resulted in an unscheduled stop in Denver.

Flight 769 was diverted to Denver Tuesday night around 10:30 p.m. Crew members said the passenger was drunk and disruptive and even threatened the flight crew.

"They changed seats for a couple of passengers so there were some well-built men sitting around him to try and contain him," said Renee Wilkinson, who was on the flight.

The man was taken off the plane and passengers continued on to San Diego. Police said the man was not arrested.
