BOSTON (WHDH) - Boston Grand Prix has filed for bankruptcy, three months after its scheduled race in Boston was canceled.

The race event was scheduled for Labor Day Weekend to run through the streets of the Seaport District. It was canceled back in April.

The company was forced to declare bankruptcy after they were ordered to refund everyone who bought tickets. They were only able to refund $400,000.
