Police are giving the all-clear after they shut down W. Newton Street, near Tremont Street in Boston’s South End.
There was a high police presence in the area for about an hour around 5 a.m. Tuesday.
This all comes after reports of a person possibly barricaded inside of a home.
Police had the street shut down as a precaution.
It’s been reported that police have a man in custody, however it has not been said what charges he faces.
